Bratislava music festival starts with James Judd

In April 2017, Culture Minister Marek Maďarič handed over the award for the significant contribution of promoting art and culture to Izabela Pažítková, among others. Her name has been a trade mark of the Bratislava music festival as its office managing director. One of the most prestigious events of classical music in our country starts 28th September in the Slovak capital. The opening concert will feature compositions by Bratislava native Franz Schmidt, Pjotr Iljic Cajkovski and Robert Schumann. All of that played by the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by its new principal conductor James Judd.
