On the other hand, world-class cinema gems will be presented in Bratislava as of October 4. The week long Be2Can event will screen selected movies from the festivals in Berlin, Venice and Cannes. According to its director Ivan Hronec: "The main mission of Be2Can continues to be serving as an example to the local film creators." It's the fact that no Slovak film has been screened in the competition selection of the Cannes film festival for more than 50 years.
