Mountains in film

The 25th International festival of films dealing with mountains and mountaineering started Wednesday, the 11^th of October. Being held in Poprad, the eastern Slovak town located at the foot of the High Tatra Mountains, it will also host some of the stars of Slovak mountaineering.Among them, Peter Hámor who has completed the so called Himalaya crown this year, reaching Dhaulágirí, the last on his list of 8000 meter tall peaks. The festival itself will feature 52 films from about 20 countries in its competition section. All of that can be seen until Sunday, 15^th October.
