The Cannes Film Festival opened on Tuesday with Slovak film institute presenting the 2017 production as well as projects in process in the common Czech and Slovak pavilion #131 at the film market known as Marche du Film. Feature film Interpreter by director Martin Šulík and documentary Dubček: All men become brothers by Robert Kirchhoff will be presented screened. Slovak production will be represented also by Slovak producer on the move Peter Badač whose film Filthy was awarded with Czech Film Critic Award for best film of 2017. The welcome drink at the Czech and Slovak pavilion will be held on Friday, May 11.
