Since in the world of cinema the beginning of the year is connected with awards, this is the best time to talk about a Slovak cinematographic project that was striving for this sort of recognition. Zuzana Botiková speaks with Dominik Bari, a young Slovak filmmaker who not only experienced the coldest settlement on Earth, but also shot a documentary film there. His movie about the village Oymyakon almost made it to the Oscars.
