„Dear listeners, it seems this is the very last appeal we address to you as at this very moment we are being reached by the members of the Soviet army." This appeal was aired from the regular Bratislava studio of the Czechoslovak radio in the morning of 21st August 1968. Nevertheless, editors, producers as well as sound engineers all across the country did not stop broadcasting for the next 12 days.
