Slovak managers are disciplined but not creative

Since 2008 Slovakia has been losing its appeal among business expats dropping from the 2nd to the 5th place among the six former communist countries in Central and Eastern Europe, according to a survey done by the multinational recruitment company Target Executive Search and the Business School of the Central European University in Budapest. Although they have been praised for working in a planned way and acting upon decisions agreed in meetings, Slovaks ale less creative in problem solving and still need training for top managerial positions. Mariana Turanová, managing partner for Slovakia at Target Executive Search explains.
