The General Prosecutor's office will verify the information about Kotleba - People's Party Our Slovakia being financially supported by Russians, informed the sme.sk. The suspicion comes after German public TV ZDF broadcasted a show focusing on Alexander Usovsky from Belarus. He allegedly accepted 100 thousand dollars given to him by the Russian entrepreneur Konstantin Malofejev to support demonstrations against NATO and "western" countries organised in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland or Hungary. Kotleba is attractive for the Russian due to the presence of his party in the national parliament. According to the information from German journalists, Usovsky was looking for an investor into a referendum on Slovakia leaving NATO.
