13. 07. 2017 14:14M.R. Štefánik airport in Bratislava serviced over 187,000 passengers in June. This is the highest number since 2008, with a year-on-year increase of 12%. The increase in arrivals and departures can be attributed to a busy holiday season as well as a larger choice of direct flights to European cities. The airport, in cooperation with the organisation Airliners, has also introduced a popular hobby for the general public - "plane spotting". This enables the visitors to observe, photograph and record planes when landing or taking off.
