More than 70% of Slovaks concerned by rise in extremism

71% of Slovak citizens think that growth in extremism and its influence represent a serious problem, TASR informed from a survey carried out by the Public Affairs Institute on Friday. "Views on extremism are distributed evenly across various social environments. The growth and rising tide of extremism concerns most women and men, most people of all age groups, all educational levels, most people of Slovak and Hungarian ethnicity, and most people in every region and in villages of all sizes," reads the report on the survey. However, only 21% of far right parliamentary Kotleba People's Party Our Slovakia supporters view extremism as a problem.
