Korean investor should create 450 jobs in Čadca Industrial Park

Approximately 450 new jobs should be created at a production and logistic plant owned by Seoyon E-HWA Automotive Slovakia, s.r.o. in Čadca (Žilina region), according to an investment plan submitted by the company for an environmental impact assessment (EIA). The company intends to build a production hall in the Čadca - Svrčinovec industrial park, in which equipment for producing plastic components and their further processing should be installed. Production would mostly focus on plastic components for various parts of the car. "The production would be carried out on injection moulding machines and dedicated devices," reads the plan. Total investment costs are estimated at €31 million. The company intends to start constructing the plant in the third quarter of this year. The completion of construction and the launch of operations is scheduled for the third quarter of 2018. The plant will work in a three-shift operation with the number of employees working in one shift being estimated at 200. The investor has already been running two similar plants in Slovakia: one in Dubnica nad Váhom and one in Považská Bystrica (both Trenčín region). The investor needs to build a production-logistic facility in the given locality with regards to a growing demand for its products, as well as the expanding automotive industry in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland.
