Train transport between Slovakia and China has been renewed after a year, wrote the Hospodárske noviny daily on Monday after the first Chinese test train with containers arrived in Bratislava cargo port. According to the Transport Ministry, this train is the first one whose route led almost across the entire Slovak territory. "The government's goal is to effectively use this Silk Route, ideally to 100%," said Dana Meager, Slovak Deputy Finance Minister, adding that this route is not only fast but also safe and could make Slovakia a gate to Chinese-European Trade.
