Thursday (16/11) will see the doors open once again for the Techsummit in Bratislava, with this round of the approximately monthly event focusing on the future of digital finances and banking security. Industry leaders from countries such as the UK, Germany, Estonia and Russia will offer public seminars and round-table discussions on blockchain technology, cyber security and the perils of financial transactions online, including a live hackathon and guest speakers including Ivan Štefanec, Member of European Parliament. Speaking to Radio Slovakia International ahead of the event, Lydia Goutas, Co-Founder of the Financial Services Club and guest moderator at Techsummit explains one of the day’s core themes: identity theft after the passing of the Payment Services Directive 2.
