President Kiska’s departure to Mexico delayed

Slovak president Andrej Kiska was supposed to leave for Mexico on Monday morning, but his departure was delayed due to a damaged chassis on the Government aircraft. Experts had sent it to Prague for reparation. As Ivan Netík, spokesperson of the interior ministry, said after the identification of problem, the plane should have been ready on Monday afternoon. Andrej Kiska was invited to Mexico by his local counterpart Enrique Pena Nieto. The Slovak President is slated to deliver speeches in the Mexican Senate and at a Slovak-Mexican economic forum. Moreover, he should also receive a symbolic key to Mexico City during his three-day stay, which is the first ever visit by a Slovak president to the country.
