Several hundred people including actors, spectators and politicians attended the final farewell ceremony for actor Marian Labuda on Friday. The ceremony was held in the building of the Slovak National Theater in Bratislava where he had played for almost two decades. Labuda died last week at the age of 73. Apart from theatre, he also performed in movies. Labuda's most notably memorable performance was his role in the Czechoslovak cult comedy Vesničko má střediskova (My Sweet Little Village) from 1985.
