A joint Slovak-Polish bid for organising the Winter Olympics in the High Tatras could be a real topic again, suggested Parliamentary Chairman Andrej Danko (Slovak National Party/SNS) after meeting with Marek Kuchciński, the Marshal of Polish Parliament, who paid an official visit to Slovakia on Tuesday. Danko said that holding the Winter Olympics on both the Slovak and Polish sides of the Tatras is a dream that we should continue to consider. "I very much appreciate the fact that Mr. Marshal personally contributed to removing all legislative problems on the Polish side," said Danko, declaring his readiness to be personally engaged in promoting this topic in Slovak Parliament and its committees. "I am convinced that the Slovaks and Poles would certainly master the Olympics," said the Parliamentary chairman.
