The Most-Híd party wants to hold talks with the Slovak National Party (SNS) on holding a snap election. Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) has rejected this possibility, announced Most-Híd leader Béla Bugár following a party leadership special session and his meeting with Fico on Monday evening. The Government crisis and tensions began after the murders of investigative journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée, and after Kuciak's final unfinished article was posthumously published. The story is about top-ranking Slovak politicians' ties to the Calabrian mafia.
