Pope Francis on Monday (April 30) met UN General Assembly President and Slovak European and Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák at a special audience in Vatican City, Vatican Radio reported on the same day. "It's a great honour for me to have the opportunity to meet Pope Francis today in the Vatican. His charisma, passion, deep faith, and inborn humanity made a huge impression on me. We conducted a very inspirational and intensive discussion about the priorities we share - peace, development, migration and combating climate change," wrote Lajcak, who is also Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister, on Facebook. After meeting the Pope on Monday morning, Lajčák and his delegation met with representatives of the Vatican State Secretariat to discuss the issue of preventing conflicts.
