The upcoming EU Summit should send a strong signal to the states of the Western Balkans about their European perspective, reads one of the main conclusions of Monday's meeting between Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini and EU ambassadors in Bratislava. As the Bulgarian ambassador Yordanka Chobanova said, she hopes that at this meeting all member states will present their commitment regarding the economic prosperity of the region and its youth agenda. The EU - Western Balkans Summit starts on May 17th in Sofia, Bulgaria. Its aim is to solve social issues such as security, migration, as well as to strengthen bilateral relations between the EU and the states of the western Balkans.
