The Visegrad Four (V4) group countries (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) are very effective in putting forward the opinions of the central European public, said Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini after meeting Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán in Budapest on Tuesday. "The basis of our prosperity is unity. When Slovakia chairs the V4 committee (as of July 1, 2018), unity has to be at its core," said Pellegrini. Pellegrini confirmed that he wants to continue developing a good relationship between the two countries because people, the economy and regions profit from it. Orbán said that Slovak-Hungarian collaboration and the V4 partnership contribute towards shared European success. "The Visegrad Four isn't a group of poor countries any more, but ones that are characterised by a dynamic and orderly economy and big plans," he stated.
