Universities could start drawing money from a second package worth €30 million for the reconstruction of dormitories as early as this year, said Education Minister Martina Lubyová (a Slovak National Party nominee). The Cabinet has allocated a total of €50 million for reconstructing student dorms. According to Lubyová, the first €20 million has already been transferred to universities' accounts. The entire project for the reconstruction of dorms in 11 towns is the most extensive one in Slovakia's history.
