Not everything is bad in Slovakia, claims former Prime Minister

I call on politicians, the media and Churches to take a more unbiased view of the country because not everything is bad in this state, and the claim that this is a black country shouldn't be pressed into people's heads, said chairman of the senior governing party Smer-SD and former prime minister Robert Fico on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the adoption of the Slovak Republic's Declaration of Sovereignty, adding that Slovakia deserves an objective view and objective criticism. "The life of the independent Slovakia has shown that there's no medication for some children's diseases and that they need to stay in bed. However, it's certain today that we made the right decision. Slovakia has won and managed its struggle, we live in a democratic and free country. We have reason to be proud," he said.
