Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini visited the 45th international agriculture and food fair Agrokomplex in Nitra, western Slovakia. According to him, the harvest result estimations are reasonably optimistic despite unfavourable weather developments. Also, the Agriculture Minister Gabriela Matečná agreed that farmers are being influenced by Climate Change. According to her, it will be inevitable to economise the approach to water and soil. The Agrokomplex fair introduced an event this year presenting companies and organisations dealing with nature protection in practice, environmental education as well as with promoting and applying the principles of sustainable lifestyles. The fair will close on Sunday, August 19.
