Donald Trump receives Slovakia's New Ambassador to US, Korčok

US President Donald Trump received the new Slovak Ambassador to the United States, Ivan Korčok, in the White House in Washington on Monday (September 17), the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry reported on Tuesday. Korčok wants to promote the foreign policy, security and economic interests of Slovakia in the USA by boosting co-operation in various areas. "As a representative of Slovakia, I'll try to meet this co-operation by supporting political and professional discussions, business and investment relations, cultural projects and building a relationship with our expats who have been contributing to the development of American society for more than a century," said Korčok. By handing over his credentials to the US president, he became Slovakia's seventh extraordinary and designated ambassador to the United States.
