Slovak Finance Minister Peter Kažimír has become minister of the year for Central and Eastern Europe according to the GlobalMarkets magazine. "Public finance recovery and sustainability is a priority for us and I sincerely look forward to seeing the results even abroad," said Kažimír in his reaction evoking the plan for a balanced budget in 2020, which however, also faced criticism. The Denník N daily points to the fact that according to the plans of the second government of Robert Fico (2012-2016), Slovakia should have had no deficit budget this year already.
