Slovakia must produce electric cars, according to analyst

Although car production in Slovakia is at its peak, the country is lagging behind in the field of electro-mobility, according to industry analyst Martin Jesný, pointing out that the country currently produces only one model of electric car. He also stressed that Slovakia faces significant competition from neighbouring countries, particularly Hungary. Economy Minister Peter Žiga has stated that electro-mobility is among the ministry's priorities and that it will focus on developing infrastructure so that it is possible to travel from eastern to western Slovakia in an electric car.
