A poll conducted for public service Radio and Television Slovakia (RTVS) by the Median SK agency shows Zuzana Čaputová being backed by 60.5 percent of votes ahead of the second round of the presidential election, well ahead of opponent Maroš Šefčovič who would garner only 39.5 percent of votes according to the poll. The poll was conducted between 17-19 March on a sample of 1,014 potential voters. 44 percent of respondents said that they would vote in the election run-off, while 20 percent said they were considering it. Čaputová won the first round of the election on March 16 with 40.57 percent of the vote, with runner-up Šefčovič garnering 18.66 percent.
