Consumer prices in Slovakia increased by 2.7 percent year-on-year in May, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Friday. Prices in restaurants and hotels increased the most - by 4.2 percent- followed by those in housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels - 4.1 percent- and in food and non-alcoholic beverages - 3.9 percent. Conversely, prices in transport fell by 0.5 percent.
