Slovaks win its fourth World Championship in ball hockey in a row

On Saturday, Slovakia won its fourth consecutive title of World Champion in ball hockey after a 4:3 victory against Finland in Košice, eastern Slovakia. Moreover, the men's team continues to be the only country to have earned a medal at all World Championships currently taking place every two years. At the thirteen events, which have taken place since 1996, Slovaks have won five golds, two silvers and six bronzes. In this year's tournament, the Slovaks lost only one match - 1:2 against the Czechs in the group stage.
