Controversial entrepreneur Marian Kočner testified at the National Crime Agency's (NAKA) branch in Nitra on Tuesday, where he was transported with a police escort under strict security measures shortly before 8.30 a.m. His lawyer Marek Para confirmed that investigators wanted to question his client in connection with an SMS communication found on his mobile phone that the police were able to decipher. He said that two text messages found on his client's mobile phone might concern the murders of journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kušnirová in February 2018. It was Europol's science and technology center for cybercrime research that managed to gain access to Kočner's communications before, during and after the murder. Kočner who is charged with ordering the murder is in custody.
