Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) called upon individuals involved in the audio recordings of alleged political corruption involving prosecutor Dobroslav Trnka to search their consciences and consider resignation. Pellegrini underlined the need to cleanse the judiciary from corrupted judges and prosecutors. He added that if the General Prosecutor's office lacks effective tools for self-cleansing, the Government is ready to help by submitting their legislative proposals to Parliament in a fast-tracked procedure.
