The heads of the Slovak Technical University and Comenius University in Bratislava will cooperate within the national ACCORD project, so far the biggest academic investment project in Slovakia's history. The total budget for the project, which aims to improve the capacities of Slovak universities and their rights in terms of research, development and innovations, is just shy of €120 million. It is supposed to make the two institutions more competitive and attractive in Europe, as well as give Slovak students an incentive to remain and study in the country. The ACCORD project should last until the end of 2023.
