Parliament on Tuesday approved fast-track proceedings for debating and voting on the introduction of the so-called 13th pension, which is meant to replace the current Christmas bonus. Under the plan, all pensioners would receive once a year an amount equalling the average of their current individual pensions - a so-called 13th pension.
