According to estimates, only one out of three Roma children attend preschool education for at least one year. This negative trend then shows in their ability to keep up with the kids from the majority. Ábel Ravasz, government proxy for Roma communities argues that attending pre-school education for at least one year is a one of the steps that may help with the minority's successful inclusion into society. Taylor McPheeters, a young American student of human development, has also been focusing on this topic within her internship at the office of government's proxy.
