Karen Henderson is a lecturer in European studies and political science in Bratislava and Trnava. Since 1987, she's been involved in mapping the political developments in the Central European region, including Slovakia. After having worked for over 20 years at the University of Leicester, Karen moved to Slovakia to live in 2013. On the occasion of the 30 years since the change of the regime in Central European countries, Radio Slovakia International is bringing a special series depicting Slovakia during the period 1989 - 2019 through the eyes of the foreign expert with first-hand experience.
