Not so long ago, the new Czech movie The Painted Bird stirred wide debates, not only because of the harsh portrayal of violence, but also due to the interestingly constructed language spoken in it. This language is called Interslavic and we spoke about it with Václav Zouzalík, who was one of the presenters at the language festival Lingva Fest hosted by the University of Economics in Bratislava in the autumn of 2019.
