Football players of FC Spartak Trnava became the winners of the 50th edition of the Slovak Cup in the 2018/2019 season. In Wednesday's final that took place in Nitra, they defeated MŠK Žilina 4:1 in the penalty shoot-out. Spartak Trnava thus added a second national trophy to its showcase and will take part in the UEFA European League's new season.
