The successful Slovak race-walker Matej Tóth had to pull out of the 50km race at the World Athletic Championships hosted in Doha, Qatar. He was not the only one, though. Unbearable temperatures and humidity made it impossible for almost half of the competitors to race. Coaches and physicians, including those from Slovakia, think Qatar should not be allowed to host such high profile athletic events.
