Devín. A quiet and relaxed western borough of the capital city Bratislava, surrounded by the Danube and Moravia rivers and a hilly countryside. Its history linked to the Roman Empire and wars with Ottoman Empire. The most dominant attraction - Devín castle - is usually one of the highlights of all brochure, videos and postcards which include Slovak historical heritage.
