In November 2018, Polish director Jan Klata was granted the Europe Prize Theatrical Realities. Since 1990, the European Commission has been handing awards to personalities who bring new trends to the theatre. In June 2019, Jan Klata is bringing new trends also to the Slovak National Theatre in the production The Physicists by Swiss playwright Friedrich Dürrenmatt, which premiered on 1st June 2019 in Bratislava.
