What Slovak can be seen in MoMA?

A Slovak stop-motion short animated film written and shot by director Martin Smatana and produced by Peter Badač can be seen in the Museum of Modern Art in New York as part of the Family Films series. „We chose THE KITE because we thought the film dealt with loss in a thoughtful and delicate way. We also liked the animation style, especially the inclusion of everyday materials, like fabric and cotton," reads the statement provided to RSI by the MoMA. „The Kite" was premiered at the 2019 Berlin International Film Festival and has been screened at the prestigious festival of animated films in Annecy, France, which is being held until Saturday, 15th June.
