Slovakia supports an increase in the funding of the Creative Europe scheme in the EU's next multi-annual financial framework for 2021-27, said Slovak Culture Minister Natália Milanová (OLaNO) during a video conference of EU culture ministers on Tuesday. "Financial support is necessary to see a survival and prosperity of the cultural and creative sector," said Milanová. She added that the Creative Europe programme, focused on European cinema and other sectors, should secure equal conditions for all EU-member countries, regardless of their capacity to produce audio-visual works, their geography or their language background.
