As of 7th July 2020, a change in organizing mass events has been applied in Slovakia. The so far chess-board-like seating commonly seen also in theatres is now being changed into a layout of alternating one full row -one empty row. It is now possible to organize events for a standing crowd of 1000+ people only if the organizer can secure the division of the room into sectors meeting several conditions among which there are 5 m2 per capita in exterior sectors and 10 m2 for interior sectors. Several Slovak summer festivals will thus be organized. Pohoda, the largest one with 30 thousand visitors coming annually, went online.
