The Slovak National Theatre has a new general director from Tuesday. It is musician, music manager and Viva Musica! festival founder Matej Drlička, who succeeded in the selection procedure. Drlička was appointed to the post by Culture Minister Natália Milanová (OĽaNO). She expects effective theatre management and results from Drlička. The new Slovak National Theater head will have 100 days to start processes that will lead to the improvement of the situation in the theatre and its effective management. Milanová presented the new director with the basic requirements for the recovery plan and entrusted him with its comprehensive preparation.
