Not many women directors in Slovak theatres

Slovak performer, author and director Slava Daubnerova does not pay any special attention to International Women's Day. She finds that this holiday is buried under the layer of a "must" holiday of the former communist regime just like many of her contemporaries. Nevertheless, she has become one of the leading figures in Slovak independent performative art and one of its key representatives abroad. In fact, she is the only Slovak theater director who has made it to a famous stage celebrated all around the globe for its quality production. That is why I approached her for an interview to mark the importance of International Women's Day.
