Since 1983, the World Heritage Day has been commemorated on the 18th of April. In order to help future generations admire and learn from past human achievements, UNESCO identifies, conserves and protects precious proofs of the natural order of the world on the one hand, and the progress of humanity on the other. In 2021, Lubica Volanska became the chairperson of the Evaluation body of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee of the Convention 2003 safeguarding intangible cultural heritage.
