On Thursday, the bi-yearly Festival of radio plays ended in the western Slovak town of Trnava. Organised by public RTVS and Trnava County, it presented the best in contemporary radio play productions in different genres. The event included listening sessions, discussions with authors and production teams as well as meeting radio professionals in action. The jury gave awards in three categories in the competition section. The best radio play under 45 minutes was The Sin of Father Marcel while the winner of the category of plays longer than 45 minutes is Vnutroblok or Patio when loosely translated into English. The young author laureate award was handed to the play There's no place to die.
