Treasures of Slovakia... in Iowa!

In the following minutes we will take you to a museum located far-far away, however, very close to Slovakia with the treasures it hosts. In Cedar Rapids, Iowa, one can literally find an exhibition titled the Treasures of Slovakia. It was curated by the Slovak National Museum in Bratislava. It contains over 120 rare and significant artworks and artifacts; many of which have never left Slovakia before. Zuzana Botiková spoke to Dr. Cecilia Rokusek, president of the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, about their current Slovak-themed exhibitions as well as their Christmas program.

the Baine/Cincebeaux Collectionare are on display until the end of February 2022.
