On Monday, 28 March, a new centre for people fleeing the war in Ukraine was open in Bratislava. On the premises of what was once the city bus station, it is possible to obtain information as well as medical, legal, psychological and social help. The new centre also includes a department of the foreign police. Apart from that it also houses the refugee shelter system, designed and provided by the world-renowned Japanese architect Shigeru Ban.
