For the past 57 years, the Slovak capital has been hosting the Bratislava music festival. In the year 2022, it starts on Friday, 23rd September with a special event featuring Slávka Zámečníková, a Slovak born world rising star soprano, singing a solo part in a special composition by Ilja Zeljenka, a significant Slovak composer. The director general of the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Marian Turner, explains that the festival will be special also thanks to international orchestras playing music by Slovak composers.
